Laila joined Victory Afghanistan in the summer of 2025 and is now in our Advanced English programme. Before this, she was in primary school and only recently began to feel the full impact of the restrictions on girls her age. Despite this, she remains one of the most energetic students in our entire academy, approaching each lesson with the enthusiasm of someone determined to hold on to her future.
Samira was in her final year of an architecture degree at Kabul University when the political changes of 2021 stopped her from completing her final exams. Her male classmates graduated and began their careers, while she remained at home searching for a way to continue her education online. Through Victory Afghanistan, she is now preparing to complete her architecture studies through an international online bachelor’s degree.
Farzana was just about to start university to study economics when higher education for women was suspended in 2021. She has spent the past four years studying online from home, determined not to lose her academic path or the independence it represents. Her goal is to earn a scholarship to study economics abroad so she can build the future she once imagined for herself.
